Tray Gear is tiny application that runs in your system and provides quick access to frequently used items from control panel and start menu, like Internet Settings, Notepad, Turn Off function, Device Manager and many more. It gives user quick links to standard Windows methods and allows avoiding seeking them manually. The extra feature of this application is nice looking calendar. After installing and launching the program adds special icon into system tray and when you click on it menu with all available action pops up. Another way for showing this menu is using hotkey Ctrl+Shift+Z combination. Tray Gear contains small help file that contains information about all its’ main features. The main disadvantage of this application is lack of customizing possibility. It means that you can customize pop up menu by add more necessary items and removing those that you actually don’t need. Nevertheless tie utility is absolutely free and doesn’t need a lot of system resources, that is why many users can find it interesting.
